The Solution

While 85% of product defects are generated early on in their lifecycle, most of them get fixed way too late, which is inefficient. The mission of ZeroDefects is to enable companies to prevent defects as early as possible during the production Process. We provide software as a service that enables companies to introduce and maintain the zero defects concept with complete traceability and transparency for small and medium-sized companies. The use of ZERO defects results in increased process efficiency and superior product quality. On top, our customers develop a positive and quality orientated working culture, increase production ramp-up speeds and subsequently increase profit.

We are looking for

An experienced and driven Tech-Leader for a startup developing a SaaS solution to introduce and maintain ZERO defect productions in multiple industry verticals. Main responsibility will lie in building and optimizing the cloud software backend architecture and user interfaces, hiring a first class tech team and help the overall business to achieve its goals.

The Role

You will work closely with your founders and our venture studio’s engineering team to bring forward ZERO defects in multiple verticals.

• Build and operate a data loving software infrastructure and a frontend our users love interacting with
• Work together with the CEO on the technical and product strategy of our startup which currently enters the market
• Manage engineering processes within the company, as well as building a team around it
• Provide expert SaaS product knowledge to shape the product and its full stack architect
• Evaluate latest technology, drive the product implementation and be in charge of its operation

Must haves

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant fields
• 3+ years of experience in SaaS development on platforms like Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud.
• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineer
• Ability to successfully hire and lead a growing tech team
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English is a must, in German a plus

NICE TO HAVE

• Experiences in fast-paced technology startups / corporate startups / consulting environments
• Strong experience in rapid software prototyping (hands-on) in direct exchange with pilot customers
